My Morning Ritual
For most of my life, mornings felt rushed.
Recently, I have started creating a morning ritual that feels less like a checklist and more like an invitation.
My ideal morning begins before the rest of the house wakes up.
I make coffee and sit quietly with a book, journal, or simply my thoughts. There is no pressure to be productive immediately.
Instead, I focus on being present.
My current morning ritual includes:
- Making coffee intentionally.
- Reading a few pages from whatever book I am currently enjoying.
- Writing in my journal.
- Reviewing my goals for the day.
- Spending a few moments in gratitude.
- Listening to classical music.
These small moments create a completely different tone for the day.
Rather than reacting to life, I feel like I am participating in it.
The older I get, the more I realize that a meaningful life is often built in these quiet moments.
